Our three-day cruises give you an opportunity to explore three different areas in the Mekong Delta, depending on your next destination:
Can Tho – the rice bowl of Vietnam
Chau Doc – on the border with Cambodia
Rach Gia – the gateway to Phu Quoc.
At the halfway mark lies Sa Dec, a charming, quaint little city at the crossroads of several cultures – Vietnamese, Chinese, Khmer and French.
Can Tho is the largest city in the Mekong Delta, and is mostly known for its floating market, the largest of the region. Can Tho offers easy access to onward transportation to Ho Chi Minh City.
Between Can Tho and Chau Doc lies the city of Long Xuyen. Visit Tiger Island, the wholesale floating market and a local house where a candlelit dinner is served on the terrace.
Chau Doc, close to the border with Cambodia, is the gateway to Phnom Penh if you wish to travel by river. Do not miss the Tra Su Bird Sanctuary, a superb eucalyptus mangrove visited by sampan.
Rach Gia is the gateway to the island of Phu Quoc. You can travel there by plane or by sea and our cruise arrives early in the morning to enable you to catch the 8:00am flight if you so desire.
