Meet us at the Cai Be Jetty at 10:00 am. The crew welcomes you aboard with cold towels and a refreshing drink as the Cai Be Princess Sampan sets off on a leisurely cruise through the busy waterways of the Mekong Delta.
Proceed to Hoa Khanh, a remote, unspoiled area offering scenic views. From the comfort of your sampan, observe life unfolding along the riverbanks—from local communities and everyday activities to the stunning scenery—while your attentive crew serves tea and seasonal fruit. In Hoa Khanh, take a bicycle ride through the surrounding countryside, ending at Ba Kiet Ancient House, built in the 19th century. Alternatively, opt for a gentle stroll instead or simply relax on board. We’ll make stops along the way to explore local cottage industries where coconut candy and puffed rice are made (the local equivalent of popcorn).
We make our way to Le Longanier Restaurant, where lunch is served in this exquisite colonial-style villa set in a lush tropical garden by the river and surrounded by fruit trees, a glimpse into the privileged lifestyle of the Indochina era.
After lunch at approximately 2:30 pm, take a short walk along the canal towards Ba Bon Bridge, concluding the excursion.
*Notes: Actual itinerary may vary depending upon river tide, arrival time or other conditions.
